Lay back, be natural, and let’s
take some pictures

This isn’t about a photo session, or even the pictures, it’s about You. Forget about posing and feeling stiff in front of the camera. Imagine going on a walk with an old friend, who just happens to have a camera with them. My process is free and flowy, and my only goal is to capture your true self.

Frequently Asked Questions.

I usually spend an equal amount of time indoors and outdoors on a family portrait session.

If you’re particularly keen on one or the other, just let me know. My priority is to give you photographs that you love, so if you have any preferences, do tell me!

I follow your child’s pace, so when they’re ready for a break that’s often when we’ll head outdoors.

Typically around 2 weeks. If you need to see them sooner, please let me know when you schedule your session.

First and foremost, you should be comfortable! Outdoor family portrait sessions – especially with little kids – are fairly active, so expect that the kids may run around and get a little dirty, you may need to sit on the ground, and we may do some walking around. Comfort is paramount to make sure that you can relax and be yourself in front of the camera.

Sessions are available midweek or at weekends. Just let me know when suits you best, and we’ll find a date and time that’s convenient for your family and that suits your child’s routine.

We’re after a time when your children won’t be particularly tired or hungry.

I recommend a 10am start as little ones tend to be at their best in the mornings, and the light is best then too.

I photograph families throughout West, Central and South West London (I am based in Marylebone), and have favourite locations for my shoots depending on where you live and the time of the year. Favourite spots for family portraits include the ever-popular Regents Park, Hyde Park, Hampstead Heath, Chiswick House & Gardens, Holland Park, Kensington Gardens and Battersea Park, all of which I know really well! I also regularly photograph clients in various private garden squares in Marylebone, Chelsea and Notting Hill.
